Experience in process analysis and application development
In product development at a global car manufacturer, I analysed processes, gathered requirements with the departments and built digital applications for workflows used internationally.
The following examples come from my work as an employee. They describe my professional experience. Internal documents and confidential details remain protected.
Preparing development milestones for management decisions
Vehicle development programmes have to submit important milestones for decision. I built a central application with Microsoft Power Platform for this.
It connected registering topics, planning agendas, dates and processing status. International programme teams used it to prepare and coordinate their management approvals.
My work covered gathering requirements, the data model, the interface, automated steps, permissions and rollout to the people involved.
Handling changes and cases transparently
Further applications supported change and approval processes and the tracking of technical product information. They brought together processing status and the contributions of different departments.
On a project in England, I gathered requirements directly with the teams involved and built a system for tracking orders and projects. A shared understanding of the work was the basis for the technical implementation.
Simplifying recurring administrative tasks
My applications also include tools for absences and leave requests. Further automated workflows supported distributing information and managing access rights.
Depending on the task, I used Power Apps, Power Automate and existing Microsoft 365 tools. Data storage, usability and responsibilities were considered together.
AI assistants for specific tasks
I have built AI assistants for knowledge handovers, research and the analysis of information. Others helped prepare presentations, gave feedback on content or provided an overview of tasks and emails.
This also involved the limits of the tools. Which details are missing? Which source supports a statement? And which result must a responsible person check?
Supporting people with new tools
My AI training sessions reached more than 6,000 participants worldwide. They covered the basics, more advanced uses and working with AI assistants. Exercises and materials were based on the concrete tasks of the departments involved.
This experience helps me take different levels of prior knowledge into account and introduce new tools together with the people who will use them later.
