How we work together
We begin with a specific task. A colleague might need to take over a recurring report. The file alone rarely explains everything. They also need to know the data source, the checks to make, the exceptions and whom to ask about missing information.
This is an illustrative task, not a documented client engagement.
Agree the scope
We record what will be covered, who needs to take part and what result is needed. We also identify what falls outside the engagement. Timeframe, your team's contribution and price are agreed before work starts.
Bring know-how and documents together
I guide conversations around specific situations and include existing documents. Your team does not need to prepare a finished manual. Examples, current templates and an indication of recurring difficulties are useful starting material.
Recording is optional. Where it would help, we agree its purpose, approval, processing and retention beforehand.
Create a clear working reference
The agreed material is developed from the conversations and sources. Responsibilities, decisions and exceptions are described so that others can follow them. Unanswered questions and conflicting information stay visible.
Test whether someone else can use it
The responsible experts review the content. An appropriate colleague then works through an agreed case using the material. We record where questions arise and add what is missing.
This review applies to the scope examined. It does not replace any required qualification, instruction or formal approval.
Hand over the material and agree its upkeep
You receive the results in the agreed format, such as editable documents or material within your existing working environment. We agree where it will be kept, who can access it and who will maintain it.
The initial engagement stands on its own. Further support, additional tasks or digital implementation are separate decisions.
The role of AI
AI can help organise material or produce drafts where the tools and data are approved for that purpose. Professional statements are reviewed and sources remain traceable. An AI system does not decide what your organisation approves as correct.

When the direction is still unclear
An initial working session can help sort competing ideas. The AI Reality Lab tests an AI use case on a specific task. An Impact Day focuses on one selected improvement.
